Core Functions:
- Consult, advise and make recommendations with leadership on IDEAL related matters including education, addressing patient-related harmful words & actions, patient care plans, and other improvement opportunities.
- Investigate and mediate patient-related IDEAL issues in the workplace that require critical thinking and problem resolution.
- Assist department managers and employees with patient-related IDEAL conflict and problem resolution. May assist in development of care plans or other identified countermeasures as indicated.
- Collaborate with appropriate members of the system to develop thoughtful, integrated approaches to promote diversity, equity and inclusion in order to facilitate a welcoming and accommodating environment.
- Conduct and apply research to bring forward important IDEAL insights and discoveries that the organization provide innovative solutions to advance equity for our workforce.
Background/Expertise:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of two (2) years professional level relevant experience in Human Resources, Patient Advocacy, or Diversity/Equity/Inclusion with demonstrated experience in conflict resolution and problem solving required.
- Preferred two (2) years of relevant experience overseeing diversity, equity and inclusion programs, practices and policy development.
- Experience in a health care environment desirable.
- Prior experience in-group facilitation strongly preferred.
