Education.
Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, Construction Management, Business Management or Computer Science/Technology Degree or equivalent is encouraged.
If the candidate does not have a degree of this nature, they must have a High School Diploma accompanied by at least 5 years’ experience in the Management of the Industrial Electrical Construction Trade.

Job Description.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided budget, timeline, and scope. The Project Manager will provide overall management direction for a large major project or two or more smaller projects. The position is responsible for applying comprehensive and fully integrated professional construction project management knowledge and skills to direct and manage multiple projects simultaneously of variable scale, budget, and complexity. Majority of work at Womack Electric is Design-bid but some Design-build is to be expected.
Responsibilities.
Our project managers are responsible for all phases of electrical work including project acquisition (identification, estimating strategy, cost/proposal development, negotiation, value engineering, site logistics review), project preconstruction (team development, planning, procurement), project construction (scheduling, team/relationship building, change management, issue resolution, cost projections, billing), and project close-out (final documentation, owner training, contract reconciliation, final billing). Candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, be computer literate, be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, both within our company and on the job site.
- Maintain good rapport with client, general contractors, engineers and field personnel
- Develop, monitor, and update project work schedule for owners/general contractors
- Prepare budgets for projects
- Monitor man-hour budgets
- Monitor and approve weekly time sheets for field personnel
- Ensure that jobs are completed within budgeted costs
- Ensure that work is completed per contract, plans and specifications
- Ensure that jobs meet completion deadlines
- Requests/bids change orders to contract
- Demonstrate knowledge of plans and specifications
- Issue purchase orders for materials per contract documents
- Monitor progress & performance of electrical tradesmen
- Monitor rental equipment, delivery, storage, operation and maintenance of equipment
- Insure implementation of safety program for field personnel
- Investigate and reports all job-related accidents and injuries
- Communicate job requirements to the Field Personnel
- Conduct regular performance appraisals for Field Personnel
- Maintain good employee relations
- Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy. Plan, coordinate and/or supervise activities of all company personnel on assigned project(s).
- Assume additional responsibilities as directed by management
- Observe Company policies and procedures.
- Observe Company safety rules and regulations.

We specialize in the wastewater and water treatment industry from greenfield plants to pumpstations.

Pay: $78,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
