What are we looking for?
The Information Security Project Manager will assist the Director, Information Security, Strategy and Implementation in ensuring a proactive and positive environment for teams and related business partners. The PM, Information Security may be responsible for multiple projects at one time and may both directly manage individual projects and oversee vendor engagements as well as other tasks or projects which keep IS (Information Security) operations moving forward successfully. The Project Manager works closely with accountable solution leaders, business and technical resources in the IS, IT (Information Technology), and other business unit organizations to ensure assigned project(s) deliver on value and business goals.

The wage range for applicants for this position is $ 120,000 to $ 130,000.

What are we looking for?
The Information Security Project Manager will assist the Director, Information Security, Strategy and Implementation in ensuring a proactive and positive environment for teams and related business partners. The PM, Information Security may be responsible for multiple projects at one time and may both directly manage individual projects and oversee vendor engagements as well as other tasks or projects which keep IS (Information Security) operations moving forward successfully. The Project Manager works closely with accountable solution leaders, business and technical resources in the IS, IT (Information Technology), and other business unit organizations to ensure assigned project(s) deliver on value and business goals.

- Provide Project Management oversight of multiple complex project implementation initiatives and provide support in the development and execution of strategic initiatives.
- Manage cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of projects / programs in the Information Security business unit and keep the Director informed of accomplishments and issues.
- Manage project life cycles throughout initiation, planning, execution, monitor & control, and closure utilizing project management processes, methodologies, tools (such as Smartsheet, MS Project), and techniques.
- Drive process excellence through the optimization of project management best practices and methodologies to promote execution effectiveness and provide continuous process improvement within the team.
- Manage risks and issues across multiple strategic projects to identify critical risks, and challenge risk assumptions early to develop effective mitigation plans, escalations, and resolutions.
- Apply the appropriate level of process rigor to facilitate change control decisions which impact project scope and deliverables and drive alignment of key stakeholders.
- Assess, plan, and manage change management plans for implications associated with the implementation of strategic projects and which support full realization of project benefits
- Provide accurate and clear written and oral communications with stakeholders, collaborators, and cross-functional teams.
- Provide meaningful project status updates for leaders, stakeholders, and project teams to contribute to informing business decisions
- Brings structure to ambiguity and quickly adapts to changing events and priorities
- Flexible and adaptive in a dynamic environment and ready to jump in and help with a good attitude. Open to learning, growth, and change.
- Other duties as assigned
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in a discipline relevant to position and/or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in the field of Information Security or Technology.
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills to help clients/ business stakeholders navigate through complex cybersecurity challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, collaborate and work in a team environment enabling others to trust and grow their skills and competencies.
- Certifications in any of the following are a plus: PMP, CSM, SAFe, or other universally recognized project management certifications.
- Relevant technical background or ability is a plus
