Inside Upholsterer Job at Southfield Furniture
Come Join Our Growing Team. Southfield manufactures quality upholstery furniture and services the hospitality industry. Family owned for more than 25 years, Southfield blends the craftsmanship and comfort of residential, with the durability expected of hospitality furnishings. Our facility, located in High Point, NC, is currently looking for experienced Inside Upholsterers.
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of 5 or more years experience in Inside Upholstery for fine custom furniture pieces (various fabrics and leather)
- Ability to read production tickets and follow any special instructions
- Utilize necessary tools, including staple gun, scissors, staple puller, etc.
- Must be knowledgeable in upholstery methods and be able to complete quality specifications
- Must be able to lift/remove frames from bucks.
- Must be physically able to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for eight hours or more daily.
- Build pieces in a timely manner, according to production schedule
- You must be a team player and willing to work with all levels of management
- Must be dependable and show up to work on-time
- Authorization to work in the United States is mandatory
