Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Certificate in Instructional Design.
  • 2 years of experience in scholarly or corporate instructional design and adult learning principles.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Customer service orientation, with the ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively within all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to identify the need to track/organize key information and establish the tracking mechanisms or spreadsheets.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organization and follow-up skills, including ability to prioritize, schedule, meet deadlines, and work both independently and with a team.
  • Proven research and documentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with document authoring and presentation applications.

About the job

As the Instructional Designer, you will provide curriculum development expertise and support on an array of projects allowing our team to bring development projects to close and improve the quality of content developed across the organization. This includes, but is not limited to, needs analysis, course development, documentation support, and evaluation. You will work with a sense of purpose and urgency, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, and demonstrate keen attention to detail resulting in the delivery of high-quality work products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $83,000-$120,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Support all phases of the curriculum lifecycle: analysis, development, delivery, evaluation, and maintenance.
  • Prepare, format, and edit learning content and materials as required for client deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain print-based (Instructor-led and self-study) learning materials for various audiences.
  • Collaborate with peers and subject matter experts on the development of program materials.
  • Assist in the creation, maintenance, and improvement of existing course material, including visual aids and graphics.
