Role
We are looking for an experienced Insurance Sales Agent with strong sales, operational, and organizational skills to support the buildout and management of our Internal Sales Agency. This is a high-impact role for a candidate who is passionate about driving sales and helping build processes. In this role, you will answer inbound calls and make outbound calls offering consumers the opportunity to purchase Insurance products. The candidate will be offered a W-2 contract. Salary is negotiable and can vary from agent to agent.
Responsibilities
- Driving sales and sales initiatives in our internal agency including prospecting and building pipeline of prospective customers
- Driving profitable organic revenue growth through new business production
- Ability to overcome sales objections and close over the phone, chat or online
- Ability to consultatively sell multiple insurance products to the same customer
- Managing high volumes of contacts and ensuring all opportunities are actioned
- Ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and high customer retention
- Keeping a focus on our core initiatives and our customers
- Having a proactive approach to reaching out to leads and existing customers
- Work with clients to present protection and risk management plans and options that fit their risk profiles
- Compile full submission data for quoting
The perfect candidate should have
- Demonstrated proficiency in sales and marketing
- Excellent organizational skills, effective time management, interpersonal and analytical skills
- A positive attitude and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of personal and commercial insurance products
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn and multitask within multiple quoting systems using MS Office products and related computer applications (Required)
- Active Property and Casualty Insurance license (Required)
- Contact center sales experience (Required)
- Minimum of 2 years insurance sales experience (Preferred)
