AAA Ambulance has been serving the Pine Belt area since 1965. We are seeking to employ an experienced, poised, and self-disciplined individual to perform data verification and claims processing in our Billing Office. The candidate must be self-motivated, determined, detail-oriented, and have problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Verify and/or enter all patient demographics information.
• Verify and interpret medical insurance eligibility and benefit details.
• Select correct schedules for claims processing.
• Utilize strong verbal and written communication skills when clarifying information to patients, providers and insurance companies.

The ability to multi-task, learn quickly, and function in a fast-paced environment is crucial to being successful at this job position.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• Must have at least one (1) year of experience with medical insurance verification.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing is preferred.
