About The Team:
The Revenue Operations team is a strategically focused team responsible for the success and enablement of the sales team, aligning and optimizing sales and revenue processes in order to drive revenue growth. The team ensures alignment between sales, marketing, and customer success departments by fostering collaboration and communication across these functions. They work together to define shared goals and metrics, ensuring everyone is working towards a common objective. The Revenue Operations team is responsible for global revenue training and enablement, process and automation solutions, and performance and insights.
About The Role: This is a newly established role within the Revenue Operations team responsible for post acquisition integration into Auctane sales processes and automation. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for overseeing our sales tool budget, strategy, and automation of sales business processes.
Primary Objectives:
- Sales Tools Strategy: Develop and execute a sales tools strategy aligned with the company's sales objectives and overall business strategy. Identify and evaluate sales tools and automation systems that can improve sales efficiency, enable data-driven decision-making, and enhance customer engagement.
- Tool Evaluation and Selection: Assess and evaluate various sales tools and automation systems in the market. Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to determine the specific requirements, features, and functionality needed for the sales organization. Conduct vendor evaluations and make recommendations for tool selection.
- Implementation and Integration: Lead the implementation and integration of newly acquired companies as well as selected sales tools and automation systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, such as CRM platforms. Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to define integration requirements, develop implementation plans, and execute the deployment.
- Training and Adoption: Develop training programs and materials to educate the sales team on how to effectively use the sales tools and automation systems. Conduct training sessions, workshops, and provide ongoing support to ensure maximum adoption and proficiency among sales representatives.
- Data Management and Analytics: Collaborate with the IT and data analytics teams to ensure accurate and timely data collection, management, and analysis within the sales tools and automation systems. Implement data governance processes to maintain data quality and integrity. Leverage data analytics to generate insights and recommendations for sales performance improvement.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize sales processes using automation tools. Work closely with sales operations and cross-functional teams to automate manual tasks, improve workflow efficiency, and enhance sales productivity. Continuously monitor and refine processes based on feedback and data-driven insights.
- Reporting and Performance Tracking: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports within the sales tools and automation systems to track sales performance, pipeline visibility, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide regular reporting and analysis to sales leadership and other stakeholders to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with sales tool vendors and service providers. Monitor vendor performance, contract terms, and service level agreements. Conduct periodic reviews to ensure vendor alignment with business needs and negotiate contracts as necessary.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Integrate newly acquired companies' sales data, processes, solutions as well as new tools into our sales and marketing tech stack which includes Salesloft, Gong, Ambition, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn sales Navigator, CaptivateIQ, Hubspot, Marketo, 6Sense, Zendesk for Support as well.
- Leverage tools to enable data governance of system data to ensure unique account information across systems
- Work cross functionally with acquisition and integration teams to align on processes
- Build integration and tools integration playbook for sales adoption - Integration Planning: Develop comprehensive integration plans for acquired sales operations, focusing on seamless alignment of sales processes, systems, and resources. Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and customer support teams to ensure a smooth transition and optimize processes and existing tech stacks
- Oversee sales automation and sales tech stack budget, oversee annual negotiations of vendor contracts and understand seat usage
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience at a tech company with regular mergers and acquisitions
- Experience managing and aligning disparate sales processes
- Strong understanding of how sales tools integrate to drive sales efficiency
- Understanding of sales processes and how they can be automated
- Natural curiosity of how automation can solve everyday business challenges
What will Make You Stand Out:
- Experience onboarding acquired sales teams into standardized sales and reporting processes
- Experience with existing tech stack and niche sales automation tools including tools for data governance
- Demonstrated experience improving seller efficiency through automation and technology
The Tech:
- Strong experience with Salesforce.com (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud), including sales-supporting functionality such as Sales Engagement, Territory Management, Collaborative Forecasting and Pipeline Inspection.
- Strong experience with ecosystem tools integrated with Salesforce (Gong, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Ambition, 6Sense, Zendesk)
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau and Looker.
