Job Title: Interim Principal

We are a Pre K-8th grade school with an enrollment capacity of 185 students. We are seeking an Interim Principal who will lead us in providing a high quality education in a nurturing Christian community. We are a fully welcoming and affirming community supported by an active and inclusive congregation. We are seeking an Interim Principal who will commit to a term of 1 year beginning in June of 2023. This person will demonstrate excellent administrative and relational skills, have demonstrated experience as a Principal/School Administrator, have experience holding people accountable to professional behavior, and embody service as a way of life.

• Elementary School- Grades K-8, enrollment capacity of 155 students

Requirements

• 5 years experience in education
• MA or MS in Educational Administration(Preferred)
• Type 75 Certification
• A living faith in Jesus
• Values equity, inclusion and dignity for all
• Exemplifies service as a way of life
• Computer literate

Responsibilities

• Oversee all academic, operational, marketing and environmental aspects of the school
• Work collegially with the School Board, Church Council and the Pastor
• Provide teacher and staff support, development and supervision
• Develop, implement and facilitate a school strategic plan that encourages academic excellence in a nurturing environment
• Develop and maintain the school budget and administrative requirements
• Maintain a productive learning environment through excellent working relationships and effective communication with teachers, parents, students and School Board members
• Hold teachers and staff accountable to professional standards and boundaries
• Provide oversight and fair and equitable implementation of student disciplinary policies and procedures
• Routinely collaborate with other principals and educators in the community to share best practices and identify opportunities for continuous improvement of school curriculum and administration
• Maintain ongoing knowledge of and compliance with local, state and federal educational standards and regulations

Pay: $74,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year
