We are seeking 5 jailers to work in the jail. Pay is $16-$19 hourly.
We are currently on 12 hour shifts but that is subject to change to 8 hour shifts

As a Correctional Officer, you'll be responsible for supervising inmates and enforcing prison rules, while also working to rehabilitate prisoners.
Responsibilities:
- Cooperate with fellow officers in all situations.
- Respect the rights and safety of prisoners and of other officers.
- Use conventional force and special tactics as necessary, including nightsticks, handcuffs, and pepper spray.
- Enforce rules and regulations.
- Take charge of a potentially difficult situation.
- Handle weapons safely and accurately, including firearms and tasers and CLE
- Communicate with prisoners in a humane way

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
