Janitor Job at Topicz-Cincinnati, Ohio
We are looking for an energetic, organized and detail oriented Environmental Service/Janitorial worker who will maintain optimal environmental standards within the facility. This position performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain offices, hallways, warehouse areas and other assigned areas of the facility.
Essential Functions
· Perform and document routine inspection and cleaning activities
· Dust furniture, polish and clean fixtures
· Sweep, mop or vacuum floors
· Gather and dispose of trash and waste materials
· Move furniture
· Clean, disinfect and stock all facility bathrooms
· Communicate supply needs to Supervisor
· Stock and maintain supply rooms
· Follow all health and safety regulations
· Keep work areas neat and orderly
· Buff, strip and wax floors
· Shovel snow and distribute ice on walkways and parking lots
Requirements
· At least 6 months of work experience in Environmental Services or Janitorial Services
· Organizational skills
· Time Management skill
· Integrity and ability to work independently
· Ability to lift up to 60lbs
· Ability to stand, bend and stoop for 8 hours per day
· High school degree
