Barbaricum seeks a junior-level IT professional to provide systems administration support to the company's growing user-base needs. This position will directly support the Systems Administrator and Barbaricum's geographically distributed workforce, including team members working on Government site as well as those at Barbaricum offices. Based out of Barbaricum's Washington, DC headquarters, this position will also support technical troubleshooting and A/V systems maintenance to ensure functionality for Barbaricum staff and guests.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve IT help-desk requests from users across the company
  • Maintain and update inventory of Barbaricum IT assets and equipment
  • Maintain and update documentation for compliance
  • Patch vulnerabilities and triage issues, sometimes requiring direct coordination with users via remote access
  • Review security logs
  • Perform internal IT audits
  • Provision equipment such as laptops in accordance with Barbaricum processes, which includes imaging and configuration
  • Maintain software in self-service portal
  • Assist with projects and migrations
  • Ensure connectivity to conference room A/V and printing resources for HQ-based staff
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • US Citizenship required
  • 1-3 years of directly relevant IT experience
  • Experience working in and resolving issues via a ticketing application (such as ServiceDesk)
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to take direction as well as take initiative and execute responsibilities with minimal supervision
