Kernel Engineer Job at Experis
Experis is looking for a Kernal Engineer for our Burlingame, CA location.
Requirements:
- Good working knowledge of the Linux kernel with 3-5 years of experience in this field
- Familiarity with Centos/Red Hat distro.
- Open-source kernel contributions would be a plus.
- Solid understanding of the following:
- Memory allocation, like slab allocator, malloc etc.
- Scheduling
- cgroup concepts
- Kernel debugging
- Threading
- Driver integration
- Familiarity with RPMs and the kernel compile process (Kconfig etc)
- Minimum of a BS in Computer Science (not Computer Engineering), MS preferred.
