Job Description


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

As Regional Key Account Manager, you will join a fast-paced, growing division working to digitize the logistics industries. This role is responsible for facilitating relationships at both national and local levels. You will develop and lead territory sales growth by establishing a regular meeting cadence with key sites, identifying new sales opportunities and maintaining the current business. This role requires the ability to work and collaborate in a team environment, to drive strategic account growth.

Main Responsibilities:

Management & Development of Local Relationships

  • Cultivate long-term customer relationships that result in increased sales, within the designated account
  • Establish a “Wiring Model” that ensures communications with all local decision-makers and influencers

Excellence in Execution

  • Execute business plans, resolve issues and deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations.
  • Align forecast with the local teams
  • Guide order process to assure SLA’s are consistently achieved and PO’s are methodically managed.
  • Collaborate with internal technical, operations, and product development personnel to assure program success
  • Lead market analysis, conduct research and synthesize learnings to support recommendations that drive change in support of strategic Go to Market programs and transformation initiatives.
  • Utilize CRM to its fullest extent
  • Maintain a strong pipeline.

Account and Market Expertise

  • Develop a deep understanding of the assigned Account (via SWOT analysis, operator and consumer target, competition, and customer strategies) and apply that understanding to develop territory plans and strategies.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the industry and customer, platforms, and strategies and be able to provide innovative customer-focused ideas

Qualifications


Avery Dennison has a long history of being a market leader. Your history is important to us. It should include the following:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Successful sales and negotiating track record
  • Expert customer service skills
  • Skilled in developing account penetration strategies at targeted accounts
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and interact with individuals at all levels of assigned accounts
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Google Suite, CRM software, and function-specific software.
  • Skilled in preparing professionally written proposals
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Strong Business acumen
