The Howlin Bird is seeking an experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team! The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of management experience and 5 years of cooking experience, including experience in cooking fried chicken, Nashville chicken, and brunch items. The candidate should also have experience in P&L management, labor management, ordering, and scheduling. The position will require working weekends and working 40+ hours a week.

Responsibilities:

• Manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and coaching
• Ensure food quality and safety standards are met
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
• Manage labor costs and scheduling to meet business needs
• Prepare and cook menu items, including fried chicken, Nashville chicken, and brunch items
• Manage kitchen budget and P&L
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Requirements:

• 2+ years of management experience in a high-volume kitchen environment
• 5+ years of cooking experience, including experience in cooking fried chicken, Nashville chicken, and brunch items
• Knowledge of P&L management, labor management, ordering, and scheduling
• Ability to work weekends and 40+ hours a week
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• ServSafe certification is a plus
