Description
Kentucky Adult Education (KYAE) is part of the Education and Labor Cabinet and provides free adult education services in each Kentucky County. In collaboration with the Office of Employer and Apprenticeship Services and the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, KAE helps ensure Kentucky adults get the education they need to secure long-term jobs in high-demand fields that provide sustainable wages.
KY Adult Education is searching for a KYAE Sr. Coordinator serve as the primary point of contact for the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR), Office of Employer & Apprenticeship Services (OEAS), Kentucky Commission on Proprietary Education (KCPE) and the Department of Corrections. Identify and coordinate training and workforce preparation opportunities for current and prospective adult learners to include apprenticeships and opportunities for justice-involved citizens. Facilitate adult education services for members of undeserved and marginalized communities.

Identify and coordinate training and workforce preparation opportunities for current and prospective adult learners to include apprenticeships and opportunities for justice-involved citizens. Facilitate adult education services for members of undeserved and marginalized communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Outreach & Strategic Partnership Branch (OSP) efforts to coordinate relationships with the Office of Adult Education core WIOA partners and the Department of Corrections.
- Coordinate the Kentucky Integrated Business Engagement System (KIBES) reporting system and identify training needs and opportunities for Strategic Partnership Coordinators.
- Develop strategies to provide adult education services to marginalized and unseen populations to include but not limited to the homeless, veterans, refugee, justice-involved citizens and aging out foster care populations.
- In coordination with the Recruitment & Outreach Coordinator, assist local providers with recruitment and outreach activities and materials.
- Collect data and measure outreach outcomes.
- Maintain a partnership database and provide monthly follow- up reports to Office and Cabinet leaders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a master's degree in business administration, public administration, marketing, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: NONE
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: NONE
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: A bachelor's degree in one of the above areas plus two years of professional experience in sales, marketing, employer relations, job placement, education, customized employment, human relations, human resources, or a related field will substitute for the required master's degree.
