Our client, the world’s leading entertainment streaming service is looking for a Lab Operations Technician who will be hands-on from day one, supporting the Client’s internal partners in being the first responder for troublesome CE devices and expanding those device pools. You will gain practical working experience with streaming media devices, and quality assurance environment support. This is an onsite 3-months contract W2 hourly rate through Talent Table. You must be available to work in Los Gatos, CA and authorized to work without sponsorship. No H1Bs. Role Responsibilities

• Build and maintain multiple lab environments for internal partner teams within the Client campus.
• Procure, deploy, and maintain CE device hardware.
• Procure and deploy console development kit activation files for Playstation.
• Procure and deploy console test kits, such as PS4, PS5 & Xbox, into lab environments.
• Assist multiple internal partners in device pool triage, maintenance, and expansion.
• Communicate professionally and technically with multiple internal partners.
• Develop tools to help make your day-to-day job more efficient.

Minimum Requirements

• Proficient with Linux Scripting ability - BASH, Python, etc. (desire to automate tedious tasks, creating, searching, editing files).
• Familiarity working with all sorts of devices from gaming consoles, DTVs, BDs, STBs.
• Familiarity with device display/technology, i.e., HDCP, 4K, HDR.
• Familiarity working with KVM servers.
• Ability to collect data, define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to work with partner teams / cross-functionally.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service to all internal/external partners.
• Ability to communicate in both a professional and technical environment.
• Ability to drive tasks from inception to completion.
• Ability to prioritize day-to-day workload regularly.
• Ability to multitask and be flexible with the day-to-day duties.
• Ability to utilize basic hand tools (i.e., cordless drills, sockets, drivers, measuring, etc.)
• Ability to lift/move 70+lbs (i.e., UPS, switches, TVs).
• Ability to work and complete tasks under minimal to zero supervision.
• Ability to manage cables in an organized and presentable manner.
• Flexibility to work on weekends, after-hours, and during emergencies when needed.
