We are on the lookout for an organized Landscape Architect or Designer to join our Placemaking team at Arcadis IBI Group in Boston, MA.

You will be involved in all phases of the project from master planning, consultation, conceptual design, team building, through to detailed design and construction observation
- Working within a variety of project types and locations within the New England region
- Work with Principals, Planners and Landscape Architects across multiple offices to design creative, context-sensitive urban environments supporting public and private sector work
- Internal and external collaboration with Planners, Architects and Engineers, in Boston and other Arcadis IBI Group Offices
- Prepare visually compelling graphic presentations and develop creative technical solutions
- Assist in the preparation of design narratives and technical reports
- Ensure project deliverables comply with regulatory standards and contract requirements
- Assist with contract administration and site inspections as necessary
Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited institution within the field of Landscape Architecture.- 4 to 8 years (post-graduation) of relevant working experience in a professional design firm
- Understanding of design excellence principles with demonstrated high quality work that elevates design
- Strong visualization skills considered an asset
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of assisting in the preparation of reports and developing design narratives under the direction of a Senior Landscape Architect
- Strong cooperative and team building skills
- Experience in preparation of construction documentation
- Proficiency in the latest version of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and SketchUp
- Revit, Rhino or proficiency with other BIM or modelling tools is considered an asset
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
