Job Description

We are seeking an experienced construction professional to join our landscape construction department as a Field Operations Supervisor. Our mission is to continue to grow our construction division by building upon our existing team with motivated individuals who are eager about the industry and operate with high integrity.

The Field Operations Supervisor would be tasked with managing our construction crews day to day activities. This work include managing the schedule, planning crew activities, delegating project tasks to specific crews, and managing equipment and tools with the end objective of maximizing operational efficiency and quality workmanships. In addition to managing day to day operations this position would serve as the direct report for all field personnel. Therefore employee retention and hiring would be a component to the role.

Project Coordination Responsibilities:

• Allocation of resources including equipment and manpower.
• Communicating with internal field staff to ensure that construction services are delivered according to contract specifications and our high standard of quality.
• Communicating crews daily and weekly assignments to keep projects on schedule.
• Job site training and assistance with project layout.
• Employee retention and hiring.

Qualifications:

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, self-starter who thrives in a role where he or she can operate autonomously. Below is a list of specific qualifications for this role.

• Five years of construction industry or landscape experience.
• Advanced ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. A degree related to landscape, construction management, environmental sciences, or management is a plus.
• Advanced Computer Skills (Experience with Boss LM is a plus).
• Strong Communication Skills.
• Strong Ability to create and manage deliverables.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience with Landscape Construction Equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
