Indigenous Landscaping has an exciting opportunity for a Landscape Designer to grow their career with our growing team! This is a great opportunity for someone who loves to utilize their landscape design skills while working with a great team of passionate landscape enthusiasts.

Who you are:

  • You have outstanding customer service skills and the ability to present a professional demeanor in all situations
  • You have experience working Sketch-Up, AutoCAD or PRO Landscape
  • A strong understanding of horticulture is necessary; a degree in horticulture or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience is required
  • Valid state driver’s license is required
  • Experience reading and understanding blueprints, plans, designs, manuals, and written instructions is necessary

A day in the life of a Landscape Designer at Indigenous Landscaping:

  • Working with clients to understand their needs and create beautiful designs to fit their vision
  • Creating drawings, renderings, blueprints, and proposals and sharing those designs with our teams and clients
  • Completing project walkthroughs with clients
  • Demonstrating knowledge of plant material and making recommendations based off plant knowledge
  • Other duties as assigned

This is a base + commission opportunity; the salary range for this role is $60,000-80,000 depending on experience. Candidates of all levels are encouraged to apply. We believe in compensating our team fairly and competitively. Our Landscape Designers also eligible for our benefits package, which includes PTO, as well as paid holidays and a Simple IRA with 3% match along with HSA contributions.

Our company has extensive horticultural, construction, and hardscape experience using natural stone, pavers, and unique plant material as some of the tools for the canvas in many of our landscapes. Our work leaves our customers with an environment filled with beauty and fragrance, a stimulating canvas for the senses, to be shared with friends and neighbors, for years to come.
