Bloom Landscaping is an established landscape design and installation company servicing the greater Sacramento area. We are looking for a reliable person to join our expanding team. Our company specializes in creating modern imaginative living spaces for our amazing clients. If selected to join our team, you would learn and be responsible for installing: drought tolerant landscaping installs, artificial turf, sod, irrigation and drainage systems and many other design aspects.

Our company is focused on providing a flexible schedule for employees in our busy day to day life, offering full-time employment with a flexible schedule. The candidate should also be available for some weekend work, as we sometimes require flexibility to accommodate our client's schedules and deadlines. Our employees report directly to the jobsite where they will be working for the day, so punctuality and open lines of communication are required.

Work experience in landscaping or construction required, as well as prior leadership experience. Candidate must be able to perform repetitive motion tasks, lift 25+ lbs without assistance, and be comfortable working in warm temperatures. The candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills, experience leading a team of diverse experience levels and backgrounds, reliable, and proficient in their customer service skills.

Day to Day Job Expectations: The candidate will be expected to communicate the day prior with the company's contractor on the job site plan/schedule for the preceding day. Tasks/goals for the day will be communicated via the contractor and crew leader at the start of the shift, and the crew lead will be responsible for ensuring the crew is on-task and working towards the completion of these goals throughout the day. The crew leader will also be responsible for: ensuring that crew takes rest and lunch breaks in accordance with state laws; quality control measures on landscaping work performed in the absence of the contractor; fielding questions from homeowners in the absence of the contractor (customer service); picking up supplies; delivering supplies to various job sites, and many other responsibilities.

No educational experience is required, however opportunities for additional training and certifications are available after completion of the 90-day probation period.

Candidate must have a reliable source of transportation and a cell phone for communication on their schedule for the day. A valid, unrestricted California's driver's license is required for this position, as well as active full coverage auto insurance (proof of both is required upon start date).

Employees are paid every 2 weeks, eligible for pay increases after a 90 day probation period. We are looking for a candidate that can grow and wishes to advance in an up and coming local business, with plenty of opportunity for growth.
