Laundry Attendant-Hotel
We are currently seeking Laundry Attendants to join our team at the La Quinta Inn & Suites Ocean City located in Ocean City, MD. Starting wage for this position is $16.00 per hour based on experience. Job Description
Our Laundry Attendants:

• Load articles into washer and adds specified amount of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agent;
• Start machines that automatically washes and rinses articles;
• Lift clean, wet articles from washer and place them successively into dryers for measured time cycles;
• Sorts dried articles according to identification numbers or type;
• Fold and place items in appropriate area/storage;
• Soak contaminated articles in neutralizer solution in vat to precondition articles for washing;
• Are responsible for reclaim items;
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; Assist with linen inventory;
• Possess knowledge of all aspects of facility;
• Participate in team and company meetings;
• Attends monthly department meetings;
• Completes projects as determined by Management;
• Nights, weekends, and holidays required;
• Have computer skills and the ability to learn hotel operating system, MS office and internet.

Additional Job Requirements:

• Hotel experience preferred but not required. We are willing to train.
• Ability to work with all types of people.
