LANDSCAPING/LAWN MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
$45,000 - $55,000 a year
Costner Care Landscaping, LLC is a local family owned, growing, design, build, and maintain landscaping business. We are currently looking to hire an experienced self-motivated Lawn Maintenance/Landscaping Supervisor to join our team.
Duties:

• Oversee crews to ensure proper maintenance of the grounds.
• Oversee crews on proper use, maintenance and storage of equipment.
• Scheduling crews for efficient and effective work
• Direct maintenance crews with their corresponding scheduled maintenance routes.
• Schedule and assign daily tasks to crew and ensure tasks are completed to customers’ and company’s’ expectations.
• Monitor sites and provide recommendation for improvement.
• Provide training on proper techniques for the use of machinery, tools and equipment.
• Ensure all equipment needed is in good working condition and is in truck before the crews begin their daily routes.
• Performs continues supervision of teams and areas throughout the day.
• Conducts routine inspections on equipment and company vehicle.
• Talks directly to customers and advise customers on plant, lawn and tree care.
• Controls the maintenance and repair of tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
• Operate powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, chain-saws, electric clippers, and pruning saws.
• Communicates well with others using basic English or Spanish
• Provides excellent service (e.g., accurate, complete, and timely) to clients, work-site partners, and company staff in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Develops relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and gain referrals.
• Obtaining new customers through referrals and company-provided leads.
• Maintaining and assigning materials and equipment
• Managing employees, including hiring, counseling and developing skills.

Salary: $45,000to $55,000/year based on experience.
Required experience:

• Minimum of 2 years as a Lawn Maintenance Foreman

Required license or certification: * Valid Driver's License

• Bilingual a plus
• Excellent Communication skills - must be able to read and write in English
• Ability to work some weekends /evenings and in inclement weather.
