We are seeking a highly-motivated ROCKSTAR Toddler Lead Teacher with a passion for early childhood education! We have a beautiful center in Bloomington with multiple classrooms, Montessori activities, secured playground, garden area & so much more!

We are looking for an experienced Toddler Lead Teacher to join our community! The toddler class serves children from 16-33 months, and is a pivotal time in child development! Come make a lasting impact on the children in our community by joining us as a toddler teacher!

Our program is committed to providing high quality care to the children and families that we serve. Our educators are dedicated to a collaborative approach and to a continued professional growth, individually and as a group. Previous experience working in a childcare program is required, and Montessori experience is a plus! You must have a positive attitude, strong teaching skills, and meet Rule 3 teacher qualification criteria.

ABOUT THE POSITION…

A holistic approach to early childhood education is a must, as we are a Montessori community. A typical schedule for this position is 40 hours/week Monday-Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS…

· Experience working in an infant and/or toddler classroom setting is preferred

· Experience working in a Montessori classroom is a plus but not required!

· Knowledge of MN DHS Rule 3 regulations (or willingness to learn)

· Proficient with technology including email, digital incident reporting, iPad (adult use only), etc

· Must have the ability and desire to build and maintain strong relationships with the children and families

· Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mentality to work with colleagues

· Must demonstrate a positive attitude with a commitment to customer service

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Participate in community events and take pride in establishing roots in our local community

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
