Lead Cook Job at Ramen Tatsu-Ya
Seeking a Lead Cook with management experience and a positive , team-oriented attitude to join the rapidly expanding Tatsu-Ya family. Wage, schedule, and location negotiable upon interview and stage. Growth plan provided upon hiring. We are looking for talented self-starters who want to grow with us!
Job Duties:
- Supervising employees, assigning duties, and creating a shift schedule
- Monitoring team performance and ensuring duties are performed efficiently
- Reporting any issues that arise during the shift to the General Manager
- Managing employee requests and transgressions
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, health, and safety standards
- Coaching team members and training new staff
- Opening and closing registers, accounting for the daily intake and preparing cash deposits.
- Handling customer issues and employee disputes

Required Skills/Abilities:
Must be 18+ years of age to work at a Tatsu-Ya location- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Toast knowledge is preferred but not required
Experience:
Previous experience in a management role preferred- Must successfully complete state required certification and obtain food handlers credentials
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
