The Digital Core Solution Delivery team at TJX develops the software that enables Sierra eCommerce and Stores to process, plan, merchandise, manage, ship, and sell millions of products each day. We are looking for a motivated, experienced .Net Senior Staff Engineer to help us deliver innovative efficient solutions to extend TJX’s world-class treasure hunt experience to new audiences and fans.

As a Lead .Net Engineer, you will be a hands-on developer, engineer, subject matter expert, and lead on critical and exciting initiatives within our eCommerce/Store Core team. In this role you will have authority on the design, architecture, and implementation of our core operating and point of sale software used by all Sierra associates and the web store. Your core responsibilities will be developing epics from intake to final delivery; and facilitate setting technical direction and direct the team towards that vision. You will partner with business associates from all aspects of our operation and guide a team of experienced software engineers to develop and build solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years of software design, development, testing, and implementation experience
• Proven ability to drive epics and deliver high quality solutions on schedule
• C# or VB .Net experience and MS SQL knowledge
• Working knowledge of modern engineering best practices, including automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment/monitoring
• Proven ability to set technical direction and directing teams towards that vision
• Strength providing technical guidance and support to team members during software development
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new, complex development environments with a passion for improving and expanding software development skillset
• Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency and drive with excellent judgment, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Agile planning/execution skills including estimating, scheduling, and executing on committed schedules
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work well in a team, project management and technical leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MVVM, MVP, or MVC patterns, Entity Framework, and .Net WPF
• Experience with security concerns and up-time in enterprise software
• Experience in warehouse or fulfillment centers, or customer service, eCommerce, or retail stores is a bonus
