Job Description:
L3Harris Space Superiority Division is looking for a Program Manager for a software development program in Colorado Springs, CO. The PM is responsible for overall program management and is accountable for program execution, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. This position will have a direct interface with customers, suppliers, and stakeholder leadership. The PM is responsible for managing the cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements through all phases from inception to completion. Assist with the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms and conditions of a contract. Ensure that all resources such as engineering staffing, subcontractors, production and facilities are available to support the program.
Essential Functions:
- Familiarity with all aspects of executing a development contract – engineering design, software development, material procurement, test/validation, and delivery of final product(s)
- Responsible for internal customer satisfaction, maintaining customer communication, and the overall management of the customer relationship
- Assist with the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budget, and financial terms/conditions of contracts
- Ensure that all resources such as engineering, staffing, production, and facilities are available to support existing programs and anticipitated new programs
- Work with internal customers to determine needs, requirements, and new business opportunities
- Interact internally with leaders and customers on significant business matters and partners with functional leadership towards success and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
- 5+ years of experience in program planning, organizing, and directing in a leadership role
- 5+ years of development program experience including using and reporting Earned Value Management System (EVMS) metrics
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $104,500 - $193,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
