Professional Property Management (PPM), Inc., a corporation owning and managing apartment communities in multiple locations in the Greater Des Moines area is looking for a Leasing Consultant at our Sun Prairie property in West Des Moines!

Summary of Position

In the Leasing Consultant role, you will lease apartments to prospective residents and ensure maximum occupancy and tenant satisfaction by performing the following essential job functions*:

• Maintain regular and reliable in-person attendance
• Show apartments and complete detailed paperwork with prospective residents
• Communicate using patience, empathy, and kindness with persons at all levels of understanding
• Complete accurate and timely data entry, filing, and client follow-up
• Other duties and/or special projects as assigned

The qualified applicant will need to able to, with or without accommodation*:

• climb stairs
• read, analyze, and interpret printed materials
• complete data entry

Hours of work will be 9:00AM-6:00PM Monday through Friday with rotating on-call responsibilities. Saturday hours will be 9:00AM-3:00PM with one day off during the week.

Requirements

• Valid Iowa driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Prefer one (1) year face-to-face customer service experience
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check
• Must have a fully insured, clean, reliable vehicle

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
