Summary:
Full Time - Onsite Role
Provides clinical social work functions for the CVMG Population Health Department. Social workers offer guidance and counseling to people in crisis. Their patients range from newborns to the elderly. They assist patients in obtaining funds, education, placement or treatment. Responsible for contributing to patient treatment plans, cooperating with other disciplines in the development of individual, family and group therapy programs. Requires the ability to assess patient problems, to conceptualize patients in terms of accepted theoretical framework, and to provide diagnosis codes and/or treatment plans where appropriate. Requires a knowledge of and commitment to professional ethics.
Education:
MSW with current licensure as LCSW, CCSW, CCSW-P or Licensed Psychological Associate. BCLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of employment date.
Work Experience:
Two years professional experience working with the population served. Previous experience providing individual, group and family psychotherapy in an acute care or clinic setting. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the position within three months of employment date.

Pay: From $45,094.40 per year
