The Osborn is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team in Rye, New York. Pay range $31.13-$41.88. Pay based on experience and shift.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care and administering medications and treatments within their scope of practice, under the direction of a Registered Nurse. As a representative of the Nursing Department and of the organization, it is required that the Licensed Practical Nurse perform the essential functions of the job in a professional manner, with a positive attitude and is aware and supportive of the mission, vision, resident Bill of Rights, policies, and procedures of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides care prescribed by the resident’s primary physician and consulting physician as indicated.

• Maintains nutritional needs of the resident through assistance and supervision.

• Follows all State and Federal regulations regarding Abuse and Resident’s Bill of Rights including right to be free of pain, and HIPAA guidelines.

• Communicates in a caring and respectful manner to all residents, families, visitors, and other staff.

• Preforms other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• Must possess a current NYS Licensure to practice as a LPN

• Must be CPR Certified

• Must display patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a cheerful deposition

• Must possess the ability to work with others in the organization

• Must have computer literacy and ability to train effectively on new patient care systems
