Responsibilities of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Registered Nurses (RN)

• One-to-one nursing care in a home environment
• Medication administration per physician orders
• Physician ordered treatments for:
• Nutrition via a feeding tube
• Tracheostomy care
• Suctioning nasal, oral and/or endotracheal
• Ventilation care
• Seizure assessment and treatment

Requirements for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Registered Nurses (RN)

• Current, active Texas LPN license or RN license
• Current BLS CPR card
• G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
