Position Overview: As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will provide general care in a clinic setting at Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Provides routine care
• Takes vital information from patients
• Provide information about treatments and prescriptions
• Observes patient health
• Records and updating patient histories
• Provides assistance with therapies
• Draws blood for testing
• Acts as a point of contact for patients

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid LVN/LPN licensure
• Must be able to practice in Texas
• Must possess a valid CPR/BLS card
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Preferred one (1) year of previous experience as an LPN / LVN
• Preferred local to El Paso (within 50 miles)

Hours: 48 per week (40 regular hours + 8 overtime hours at 1.5x pay)

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The employee is frequently required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
