Line Cook Job at Zanti Cucina Italiana Trattoria
We are looking for line cook to be part of our Back of the House Team!
Main purpose of the job:
As a line cook, you would be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards, prepare the culinary preparations according to the recipes indicated, using the techniques, type, quality, and quantity of ingredients required, as well as the equipment and utensils, based on the quality standards and procedures of the company, the current sanitary regulations and the systems of food hygiene management that set international standards to contribute to the achievement of service objectives.
Candidate profile:
- High school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
- At least 6 months’ experience working in a kitchen is required.
- Knowledge and experience with Italian food is preferred.
- Previous Experience in a similar job position.
- Knowledge of one or various cooking positions, procedures, and methods (hot line, prep area, grilling, sautéing, baking, boiling, pantry, pizza, pasta, pastry, etc.).
- Properly execute all recipe procedures
- Previous experience preparing a variety of foods with different cook methods and preparation
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Complete assigned prep work to stock and set-up stations
- Licenses/Certifications: Food Safety Certification
