Live Events Booking Coordinator
This role is responsible for assisting with Live Event Touring in all routing, booking and contracts of events.
MGP Live is looking for an energetic self-starter to be its next Booking Coordinator responsible for developing booking strategies for multimedia symphony concerts and tours. The position entails keeping in frequent contact with venue partners to establish a calendar of available dates; strategically planning concerts, tours, and other live entertainment properties. Must be able to create budget, understand tickets scaling , concert costs breakdown and settlements.
You will work closely with MGP Live’s President to develop new show concepts and execute promotional ideas for ongoing tours as well as working closely with our clients and venue partners as the day-to-day point of contact for the execution of shows.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
- Develop booking and routing strategies for multimedia symphony concerts and tours
- Compile venue availability lists for routing tours. Place and release venue holds
- Negotiate venue rentals, co-presentation partnerships
- Manage all Domestic and International venue contracts by working with Company’s internal legal department to ensure all proper paperwork and insurance are in place for each event
- Liaise with orchestra contractors, production managers, other third-party relationships
- Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional strategies on TV/Radio/OOH channels
- Serve as day-to-day point-of-contact with clients
- Work closely with MGP Live President, assisting with a wide variety of tasks related to the planning and execution of concerts
- MUST have 2 years prior experience in the live entertainment industry as booking coordinator
Must have Skills and Experience:
- MUST have Entertainment Management Degree /Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year)

- Previous experience working with live symphony orchestras
- Proficient at using GSuite, particularly Gmail / Docs / Sheets / Slides) (Plus)
