Summary:
Goldbelt Apex is seeking a Medical Logistics SME to join our team supporting Department of Health and Human Resources (HHS) public health preparedness and response programs under the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) contract. The HRSA will carry out public health preparedness and response protocols, coordination mechanisms, and training to enhance logistical support that enable health centers to respond to emerging health care issues.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide medical logistics expertise on shifting from centralized government-run COVID-19 care distribution model to a commercial distribution model
- Provide expertise on medical procurement, ordering, distributors, negotiations, tracking systems, coverage policies, billing and reporting requirements, etc.
- Provide expertise on developing new strategies for health center commercial distribution models
- Provide expertise on lessons learned and best practices preparing for and responding to medical logistics health emergencies
Qualifications:
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of governing supply regulations, procedures and instructions.
- Knowledge of supply functions, operations, program requirements and work methods.
- Understanding implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making and the ability to communicate findings
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Minimum ten (10) or more years’ experience in federal and commercial supply chain ecosystem required
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with medical logistics during COVID-19 preferred
The salary range for this position is $146, 000.00-176,000.00 Annually.
