Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Part-time and PRN are encouraged to apply!

We are hiring for:

Days 7am-7pm

Evenings 7pm-7am

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a healthcare provider
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and reactions to medications and treatments
• Provide supervision and direction to CNA’s on your shift
• Assist with assessments, care planning, and patient education
• Perform all basic nursing procedures & treatments as ordered by the healthcare provider
• Admit, discharge and transfer residents as ordered by the healthcare provider
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, including RNs, nursing assistants, and therapists
• Document patient care and observations in medical records
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• Current licensure as an LPN in the state of Kansas
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and move freely for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and move patients or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead
• Ability to work in a healthcare environment with exposure to infectious diseases

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour
