Machine Specialist -- Cookeville, TN Job at G+L - Cookeville Facility
Responsibilities
We are searching for a Machine Specialist - Cookeville, TN with experience in a production setting.
The individual will be responsible for:
Evaluate parts for dimensions and proper finish as per prints
Work with multiple machines simultaneously if needed
Set up and operate the machinery, load raw materials and unload completed parts.
Follow and adhere to safety procedures in the facility.
Maximize machine utilization by meeting production standards.
Deliver quality production
Function as a leader to Assistant Machine Specialist - Cookeville, TNs by directing them in the set-up, start-up, operation, and shut down tasks of the machine
Carry out other duties assigned by the Plant Manager
Qualifications
- High School Degree or GED
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ready and able to work overtime and as needed
- Able to work any change as required
- Basic mechanical skills.
- Basic comprehension and mathematics skills.
You should have:
- Machine Setups for Production Runs
- Blueprint Reading
- Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
Salary info:
$14 - $15.40 / hr
