Mail Processor Responsibilities:
Processors
- Standing for entire shift processing mail w/ scale, scan gun and computer
- Moving package with one hand, placing on scale, scanning, confirming weight/location, applying a new label, then place on belt
- Good hand, eye coordination is necessary
- Must be able to see the package labels. Lifting up to 20lbs max.
Sweepers
- Material handlers supplying the packages to processors in a fast pace keeping stations full
- Lifting up to 35lbs.
- Moving Gaylord off mail truck via hand truck
- Bending, squatting and twisting of body required
The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
