Atlas Roofing Shingle and Underlayment is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator for Ardmore, OK.
Maintenance Coordinator Primary Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must perform all job duties safely and in accordance with Plant rules and regulations
  • Responsible for good housekeeping in areas of responsibility, including the storeroom and receiving areas
  • Manage the Stores Administrator which includes leading, training, and directing daily activities
  • Act as relief MRO which includes purchasing authority for all stores equipment and activities
  • Required to produce weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual, down day and Quality Control work orders
  • Utilize MaintScape CMMS for the development of Work Orders, Preventative Maintenance, and store room inventory. Responsible for the training of others on use of the CMMS system
  • Generate preventative maintenance for the mechanical and electrical departments on a weekly basis
  • Utilize Maintenance Log to collect data and track activities completed on a daily basis
  • Report data captured in Bizware, Ignition, and shift reports from production supervisors
  • Receive parts purchased from all departments via PeopleSoft and generate crystal reports
  • Work closely with Accounting to fix any discrepancies with invoices from parts received
  • Communicate with vendors and analyze pricing via quote requests and select the best cost effective options
  • Create requisitions and assess purchase orders for accuracy
  • Schedule, approve, reject, and close work orders
  • Create Corrective, R&R, Project, Failure, and Safety work orders and update schedule as needed
  • Produce monthly reports capturing data metrics regarding the status of work orders, downtime, projects, utilization, costs, etc.
  • Direct monthly meetings with management to discuss previous months' activities (KPIs, downtime, repeat offenders, critical failures, contactors, high cost spare parts, Root Cause Analysis, etc.) and review the tentative activity and schedule for the following month
  • Manage Shut Down Sheet to record the progress of scheduled maintenance to be completed on down days for production, EHS, electrical, general plant, and the maintenance department
  • Responsible for the development and maintaining of equipment specific Bills of Materials (BOM's) and the inventory of spare parts

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES (include computer, language, mathematical, and analytical skills required.

  • Organization-Must have sound organizational skills.
  • Communication -Ability to provide relevant and timely information in a clear manner both verbally and in writing.
  • Follow Through – Fulfills the requirements of the position as described. Follow-through on completion of assigned tasks in a timely manner. Anticipates what needs to be done and proceeds without direction in a timely manner.
  • Problem Solving – Ability to think through issues and develop solutions in a timely manner.
  • Language-Must be able to speak fluent English.
  • Mathematical abilities- Basic math skills required

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Storeroom Administrator
  • Maintenance Staff in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE (include certificates, licenses, or registrations required):

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum three (3) years working in Production/Manufacturing Environment preferably in a Shingle Manufacturing facility.
