LOCATION: American Games (504 34th Avenue Council Bluffs, IA)

MAINTENANCE (ELECTRICIAN)

What You'll Do

This position is a full-time permanent position in a manufacturing environment. This position will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing of charitable and lottery gaming products, including pull-tab tickets (break-open tickets) and bingo paper.

This position will play a key role in installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems including controls, circuits, panels, relays, machines, and communication systems.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Troubleshooting electrical issues with equipment
• Knowledge of AC/DC motor controls, VFD's
• Knowledge of PLC's and PLC programming
• Provide swift service to each department
• Deliver projects on schedule
• Maintain a clean work area at all times
• Demonstrate working in a safe and smart manner
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate's Degree required or equivalent work experience
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 4+ years' experience
• Ability to direct subordinates and/or crew, if applicable
• Troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to objectively review information pertinent to position
• Effective in time management
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in an organized manner within a fast paced environment
• Ability to apply strong attention to detail and produce work with accuracy
• Ability to work independently and self-direct work, and in a team oriented environment
• Aptitude to learn new computer software
• Ability to prioritize workflow, maintain schedules and follow up to meet deadlines
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a diverse environment.
