Do you have the desire to use your niche skills with traditional shop tools to improve production machinery for a company that makes one of your favorite snacks? Join us as a Machinist in our in Kansas City plant where you will use a manual lathe, drill press, and more to make precision parts for a variety of plant equipment to help our operation run as efficiently as possible. This position pays $34.57/hour and will work a 4 days on/4 days off schedule.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Maintaining Equipment and Utilizing Your PLC Knowledge - You will be alternating in between troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and on the spot machine repair. You will need a firm focus and understanding of programmable logic controllers and robotics. Candidate must be able to maintain proper documentation, electrical upgrades, and make modifications and improvements.- Analyzing Conditions and Providing Solutions - Identifying and examining production equipment failures to understand root cause analysis, with the help of interpreting schematics and drawings. Investigating, analyzing and repairing electrical systems while working with PLC programming and other computer-based applications.
- Driving Innovation and Communication - Actively improving plant efficiency and identifying cost saving opportunities. While maintaining an open dialogue with Maintenance Supervisors, Maintenance Mechanics and Operators, on day-to-day activities and long-term improvement projects.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Journeyman’s OR Electronics/Technical Degree OR 5 years of Industrial Electrical Maintenance- PLC Troubleshooting experience
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated knowledge of behavior-based safety systems
- Sitting, standing, walking, lifting and / or repetitive tasks throughout the day. Employee will be required to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
