The Maintenance Manager is primarily responsible for coordinating and overseeing equipment maintenance and rehabilitation at the Deployed Resources yard(s) in Reno, NV; Tucson, AZ; Raeford, NC; and Jackson, MS.

• Oversee Deployed Resources equipment repairs and rehabilitation projects.
• Work under the guidance of the Senior Manager of Maintenance and Production to make sure projects are progressing on time and within budget.
• Work with team to ensure all projects are held to the highest standards.
• Work under the guidance of the Senior Manager of Maintenance and Production to make sure all equipment levels are maintained adequately and ready to deploy
• Remain up-to-date on the latest codes and guidelines for all DR equipment.
• Report progress updates to the Senior Manager of Maintenance and Production
• Work with team to troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs
• Implement and oversee safe and productive work practices
• Track expenses and oversee the maintenance budget for projects
• Create and implement maintenance procedures
• Plan and manage all repair and installation activities
• Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies, as needed
• Create and maintain relationships with vendors for supplies and negotiate pricing

Skills and Specifications

• High-level knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and welding trades.
• Ability to learn and navigate Deployed Resources Asset Tracker (DRAT) database
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, and Excel
• Great organizational skills
• Knowledge of safe working practices
• Knowledge of applicable codes for plumbing, electrical, and welding trades
• Ability to seamlessly collaborate with peers and junior employees
• Self-starter, who embodies entrepreneurial spirit, and works well with general direction
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.

Work Environment

This job operates in workshop, facility, and field environments. We operate 24/7/365, inside and outside, in all weather conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, hand tools, site equipment and vehicles, and is required to use and wear standard PPE, which will be provided by the company. There is an expectation of clear communication in English both written and orally.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Ability to twist, turn, bend, lift, kneel, climb and stand. Lifting of up to 75 lbs may occur. Employee will be required to travel (at organization expense) in automobile and/or aircraft. Expectation of exposure to weather (heat, cold, rain, snow) as operations occur in all areas of the country with potential for overseas travel.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position based in either Reno, NV; or Tucson, AZ; or Raeford, NC; or Jackson, MS. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 6:30am to 5:00pm with Fridays, weekends, and extended hours as-needed. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends will be required based on contract needs.

Travel

This position requires up to 25% travel to other yards and job sites. Travel is associated with all contract work and may be required to assist with equipment maintenance and rehabilitations. Travel is dependent on contract load and disaster response. Ability to travel to job sites and be away for extended periods of time based on contract needs is required.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required
• 5 years of experience in a maintenance position is required
• 1+ year of management experience is desired
• Trade school certification is desired
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is desired

Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable)

• Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
• Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and a background check upon accepting a conditional offer of employment
• Must possess a valid driver's license; have/maintain a clean driving record.
• Must have (or be able to obtain and maintain) a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
