We are seeking maintenance technicians to help uphold our commitment to our members with our 24/7/365 focus on first-rate beautiful clubs, clean facilities, and premier equipment.

Job responsibilities will be coordinated around the Chicago Ridge, Crestwood, and Lyons areas.

Maintenance Technicians coordinate general repairs and maintenance of the facility with a focus on fitness equipment repair. The contribution of the maintenance tech is critical to the customer service level provided in the facility.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain building, pool area, lighting, and heating/cooling components in the facility.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair to ensure equipment is working properly.

• Perform cleanliness/maintenance inspections.
• Ensure risk management including documentation of incidents and compliance to company standards as well as other regulatory agencies, i.e. health dept, fire marshal, state.
• Ready to take emergency calls and report to the club at any time (unless otherwise coordinated).

Qualifications:

• Must furnish own basic tools.
• Fitness equipment repair experienced preferred.
• General skill in equipment/mechanical repair (auto, residential, business, etc.). HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry is a plus!
• Self-starter and able to complete projects and maintain productivity with little to no supervision. Must be able to take direction from multiple lines of management (including club managers, other regionals).
• Possesses valid driver’s license with 24 hr access to a vehicle for club emergencies and proof of insurance.

• Willing and able to complete Certified Pool Operator certification, if requested.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 75lbs
• Walk, crawl, run, climb, kneel, squeeze into tight areas
• Must be able to perform work with pool chemicals
• Must be able to work on rooftops

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
