This position performs routine maintenance in three of the following areas: painting,

landscaping, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, welding and locksmith.

Essential Functions

 Reads and interprets work orders to perform routine maintenance in three of the following

areas: painting, landscaping, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, welding and locksmith.

 Documents work performed to comply with regulatory bodies and building codes.

Job Requirements

 High School Diploma or GED.

 Vocational/Technical Degree in Engineering trade or equivalent experience.

 At least 2 years of experience in three of the following areas: painting, landscaping,

plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, welding and locksmith.

 Basic user of MS Office.

 Forklift certification.

 Be at least 21 years of age with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience; possesses a

valid California driver's license; and has no Class 1 or more than two Class 2 violations

within the past 36 months.

 Participate in an annual Tuberculosis screening and/or other screenings when necessary.

Work Environment

 Work involves frequent exposure to extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, loud

noise, or chemicals, etc.

Physical Demand

 Bending and Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at waist

 Climbing: Ascending or descending ladders or stairs using feet and legs and/or hands and

arms. Body agility is emphasized.

 Heavy Carrying/Lifting: Physically transporting, raising items from a lower to a higher

position, or moving objects horizontally weighing 45 pounds and over from one location to

another.

 Kneeling: Bending legs at knees to come to rest on one or both knees.

 Mobility Requirement: Ability to get from one office location to another.

 Reaching above shoulder: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.

 Repetitive motion: Substantial movements of the wrists, hands, fingers, and/or upper body

for sustained periods of time, including using extremities to drag, push, pull or grasp.

 Sitting: Particularly for sustained periods of time.

 Standing: Particularly for sustained periods of time.

 Walking: Moving about on foot, particularly for long distances.

 Visual Requirement: Able to see and read computer screens, detect color coding, etc.

 Hearing Requirement: Able to detect specific noises, proper equipment operation.
