We are currently seeking an experienced, reliable, and trustworthy Maintenance Technician to support our Holly Springs operations. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role will be responsible for maintaining production equipment for two lines as well as providing general facility maintenance.

This position offers great work/life balance being first shift (6:00A – 2:00P) Monday through Friday – no regularly scheduled nights, weekends, or long hours. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow all plant health and safety standards including wearing proper PPE.
• Perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance on all production equipment. This includes printing presses, balers, RTU’s, compressors, etc.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, install, and/or replace bearings, gearings, conveyors, PLC’s, and associated mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain facility, providing basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical (120/240/480).
• Maintain spare parts inventory within SAP. Ensure proper stocking levels and locations, setting min/max, etc.
• Must provide basic hand tools (wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, etc.), drill, impact driver and toolbox. Tools will be stored in secure area within the plant.

Qualifications:

• Must follow all plant rules including wearing of PPE and LOTOTO at all times
• Basic reasoning, mathematical, reading, and maintenance skills. Must be detail oriented with problem solving skills.
• Corrugated or related packaging industry experience a plus.
• Must be able to read and understand work orders, electrical schematics, building blueprints, mechanical drawings, and have basic computer skills (Office Suite, and SAP)
• Must have pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, & electronic knowledge (Allen Bradley PLC’s, Giddings & Lewis PCU’s, sensors, light barriers, & conveyor lines).
• Must have building maintenance knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical.
• Communicate potential problems with the building, equipment, or health/safety issues to Maintenance Manager when they are observed.

Physical Demands:

• Be able to lift up to 50 LBS
• Able to stand, walk, crawl in tight areas at times and able to work at heights
• Repetitive gripping, twisting wrist motions
• Be able to step up and down from equipment and ladders

Environment:

• Manufacturing environment
• Loud and constant machine and forklift noise (earplugs required)
• Dust/dirt (goggles/safety glasses are required)
• Slippery surfaces due to water usage during cleanups
• Concrete and hard walking surfaces (safety toed boots required)
• Cool in the winter and hot in the summer

Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
