One of the newest and hottest restaurants in The Valley, Casita Mexican Restaurant & Bar, is seeking a Floor Manager or Assistant General Manager to join our fun, fast-paced dining scene. Casita is located on Ventura Blvd in Sherman Oaks. Serving modern Mexican made from scratch, it's a groundbreaking concept by the founders of Taisho Japanese Restaurant & Bar, which is right across the street from Casita.

Requirements

• 5+ years of restaurant experience in a similar environment (fine dining, face-paced and high-volume)
• 1+ years of management experience
• Full Service and Full Bar experience
• Ability to manage strong personalities
• Fun, Positive, Strong Work Ethic

Responsibilities and Skills

• Resume and proven experience
• Excellent knowledge of F&B operations and efficiencies
• Proven track record of delivering an exceptional guest experience
• Strong leadership skills that create a collaborative, effective and positive work environment for staff and other managers
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Oversight to help ensure the front and back of the house are organized, stocked and clean
• Troubleshoot and do due diligence to avoid issues and work quickly to solve any issues and obstacles
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Manage orders and monitor costs
• Reporting and budgeting
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Computer literacy a must
• Ability to speak English and Spanish is a plus

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
