Summary: VES is looking for a Manager of Procurement, Center of Excellence to join our team! The Manager of Procurement, Center of Excellence directs and coordinates procurement and sourcing standards for purchasing operations and aids the Director of Procurement in formulating and administering organization policies, KPIs and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Directs & Coordinates: All activities related to the procurement center of excellence; MRP, inventory and procurement personnel.
• Develop Strategies: Create a governance structure to ensure SOPs and documentation for procurement processes are complete, up-to-date and maintained.
• Lead Activities: Implements and manages adherence to procurement and sourcing standards standards, goals and objectives.
• Analyze & Monitor: Evaluates activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals, KPIs and objectives. Creates and administers company policies and procedures.
• Collaboration: Consults with the global procurement teams and other departments to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.

Education and/or Experience:

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or MBA is preferred
• At least 10 years of relevant experience
• Extensive procurement and sourcing knowledge
• Exemplary multitasking and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Expertise in SAP
• Bilingual (proficient in speaking, reading and writing in English & Spanish is preferred but not required).
