KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Site Reliability Engineer to join our Digital Nexus organization. This is a remote work opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve complex enterprise system hardware and software problems; collaborate with peer teams and vendors to coordinate solutions; facilitate generation and/or implementation of new ideas for enhancements and improvements
- Be the Technical Lead representing the SRE\Tier 3 team for operational initiatives or project support
- Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions
- Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating for continual improvement
- Manage escalations of high priority incidents; open and manage support cases with OS vendors; follow up on root cause analysis and problem tickets for future improvements to prevent recurring issues and incidents
- Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent experience operating in a large enterprise environment with the understanding of implementation of systems at scale; minimum three years of recent scripting experience with PowerShell and\or Python; SRE experience is preferred
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
- Experience in supporting various enterprise class solutions and services including Windows server administration and security issue remediation
- Ability to program (structured and OOP) using one or more high-level languages, such as Java, C/C++, Ruby, and JavaScript a plus
- Able to coordinate troubleshooting and investigation across databases, web services, and applications (e.g. SQL, IIS, .Net, and others); Linux OS experience a plus
- Experience with Configuration Management Platforms and managing Compliance and Self-Healing; demonstrated proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
- US Citizenship is required

Sacramento / San Diego Salary Range: Low: $104200 - High: $196900
Albany Salary Range: Low: $99200 - High: $187500
