Primary Responsibilities: **

Support the software engineers by performing general administrative duties and distribution of communications.
* *
Have weekly 1x1’s with the software engineers to understand their needs and provide guidance.

Act as a mentor to the software engineers for any technical questions they may have.
* *
Work with leadership to align priorities with business needs and communicate them to the software engineers.
**
Work with peer managers in the larger Data and Controls team to ensure it operates as an effective unit.
* *
Lead a team of full-stack engineers, recruiting for new positions, driving career development and owning standard resource manager responsibilities.
**
Drive design and development of resilient, reliable, and scalable solutions to meet and exceed customer requirements.
* *
Communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written forms, and be able to present and demonstrate work to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Qualifications: **

4+ years of experience in modern programming language(s), ideally with some Node.js background

Solid proven experience leading and mentoring a team of direct reports

Solid understanding of software engineering and processes: design patterns, algorithms, data structures, schemas and queries, system design, unit testing, code reviews
**
*Preferred Qualifications: *

Experience in healthcare

Experience with Agile methodology

Working knowledge in GitHub

The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada/New York City residents is $90,500 to $161,600.
