Position Summary

This position is responsible for providing high-quality management consulting, including managing the annual and long-term strategic planning process, performing data analytics and market analysis for assigned strategic initiatives and managing department-wide initiatives.

Fulfilling the responsibilities will require the incumbent to frequently define complex issues, develop project plans, conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, and develop as well as present assessments to internal executives and external partners to facilitate strategic decisions. This position works closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and oversee the region’s annual and long-term strategic planning process. This includes development and management of current state and future analysis, development of tools, process planning and facilitation. Manages development of dashboards to track performance of Strategic Priority Initiatives.
  • Develop assessments, including qualitative and quantitative analysis, to progress strategic opportunities and executive decisions.
  • Develop executive- and board-level presentations, reports and communications in support of assigned strategic initiatives and special projects. Responsible for presentations decks across the Office for all committees and boards.
  • Department Management
    • Responsible for the cross-functional coordination of priorities and key meetings.
    • Monitors team assignments and ongoing work to ensure timely and appropriate action.
    • Advises and contributes in structuring identified and unidentified issues for resolution.
    • Recommend courses of action related to identified issues.

Qualifications

Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Health Care Administration, Operations Research, Public Health Administration, or other related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare strategy, strategic planning, business development, health care consulting, or a combination of these experiences in health care or a related field plus 1 year of experience in a leadership capacity. Additional advanced education may substitute for minimum experience requirements.
  • Strategic planning experience.
  • Proven track record of operating in a matrixed environment and building relationships to achieve common goals.
  • Experience with project management and or related principles including schedule development, status reporting and risk and issue management.
  • Past responsibility for board- and executive-level reports and presentations

Preferred education experience and skills:

  • Master’s degree
